The Glass family has been farming and ranching since the Colonial Era when Samuel F. Glass moved to Virginia from Ireland in the late 1600s. This tradition has been passed down from generation to generation. When it became time for David Glass to carry the torch, not only did he continue the family’s tradition in farming and ranching but, he had an idea for a new kind of feed store. Not only would this store be stocked with any feed you might need, it would also include clothing, pet supplies, lawn & gardening and much more. In 2005 this idea came to fruition. This idea is Elgin General Store.
